Ever since Brian Bussinger was a young man, he dreamed of building log homes in Michigan. While he started his young career as a fabricator at the age of 15, making parts for wheel chairs and other handicap products in a machine shop, Brian steadily built his knowledge of tools and manufacturing as he grew older. His work became his passion, and after starting his own building and excavating company, he began looking for ways to differentiate his business in order to offer something brilliant and unique for aspiring Michigan home owners. So with the help of his son Josh, and a wealth of knowledge and intuition, Brian started Log N Iron Log Home Products. Now 46, Brian's creativity and old-school craft has led him to not only building his portfolio of clients, but also building his own patented log joist hanger. Just another unique aspect of what Log N Iron has to offer.
With shared values both in and out of the office, Josh is truly his father's son. In fact, Josh has been by his father's side for much of the time that Brian has been in the business of building and manufacturing homes. Although, while Josh and his father are alike in many ways, he also has a wealth of knowledge all his own. Josh is a certified journeyman electrician, which takes several years to acquire such an elite title. Perhaps more valuable than the title, is the years of experience Josh has gained while working alongside, and for, a wide variety of people. Josh has always had a humble and appreciative approach for learning, and it shows; not only in the quality of his craft, but the way that he gets work done. And as many happy Log N Iron customers will tell you, Josh is a joy to be around and a great representative of all things Log N Iron.
